I haven't been out in DC as an adult, so I can't comment. But even if Philly and DC are even, it's hard to ignore Atlantic City just an hour east of Philly. I think adding in AC, since it IS part of the CSA, puts Philly well ahead of DC.

Atlanta all the time.Where do you think all the hip hiop culture comes from? Why do you think Atlanta has so many large scale conventions and big strip clubs?.

Philly nightlife is good no doubt but I dont rate it over Atlanta. In this grouping,Phillyis AFTER Atlanta

That's a pretty huge stretch dude. AC is its own thing and doesn't count for Philly when it comes to nightlife in my book. That would be like including Athens, a quintessential college town, for Atlanta and nobody does that.

AC is closer to NYC than Philly anyway,And AC has never been known as a nightlife destination for most other than the casinos.

You need to get out of Philly and get real.
I live four hours from Philly in a different state.

Disgusting? Right. Because Philly is the only city with a ghetto. Ever.

Paris and San Francisco are two cities that were disgusting to me in terms of trash and garbage (worse than Philly), but they're no less global cities for it.

Quit being a vagina.

If you subscribe to that kind of nightlife..

There are plenty of us who don't. That is a total non-factor for me. I prefer lounges and bars and music venues. Atlanta is not nearly as big a bar town as Philly.

AC is two hours from NYC and one hour from Philly. People in the Philly area go to AC for recreation and nightlife but I think it's disingenuous to count AC as Philly nightlife. It's not like a group of friends will go from barhopping in UC to South Street and then say, "Hey, let's hit up AC next!"

Hah-I've done that plenty actually... AC is open later. Definitely not a routine thing though.

It's pretty rare for someone to do that all in the same night, and even when it does happen it's probably planned most of the time. I don't even see people doing that here in DC with Baltimore or vice versa and the two cities are a little closer.
