Seattle should be number 2 after SJ.

I saw the list and guessed that a Baltimore resident posted it.

The list depends on a million factors...who is #2 is about what industries you include, or professions if that's your thing. Many cities could fill the position depending on the criteria.

Definitely SJ/Silicon Valley, Seattle, and SF/LA/DC in the top 3-5.

The methodology for that list is stupid. It's not measuring the biggest tech hub, it's measuring the share of job postings in tech. If anything, it could just show how undiversified a city's job market is.

Are the same "million factors" at play when a city that most people expect to be near the top is there? I've don't hear much about determining factors when other cities are listed.

Tech Hubs are cities with lots of nerds so I am not sure if being on this list is such a good thing. Lol. I live in Seattle and I am surrounded by nerds everyday and I find myself constantly shaking my head. I remember when Seattle used to be a cool city back in the day before it became a nerdy tech city.

Is grunge still a thing in Seattle?
