Well, Chicago isn't MID-major. It's THE major midwestern city. Everyone knows that unless they are in deep denial I gave the slight edge to StL too, but it's slight. I don't think there are huge differences between these cities.
Agree, the difference is subtle between these cities. If I had to pick between them, I'd throw a dart at the map while blindfolded.

Ya I thought about MInneapolis but with the combination of St. Paul it is a very, large combined statistical area. Plus I honestly think this and Detroit are on a whole other level. Idk

Detroit and the Minneapolis MSAs are much larger than the cities listed. That, would put them on another level.
