Hi, Everyone. Welcome to the unofficial Mississippi River multi-city throw-down!
Let's get started! The competitors for this battle are the following:
First, In Minnesota, we have the "Twin cities,"
Minneapolis-St. Paul ...
Hailing from the "Show me" State, Missouri, is
St. Louis ...
From West Tennessee we have
Memphis ...
And finally, in the "Pelican State," Louisiana, we have
New Orleans .
Now, here are the rules:
Before making your selection, the four areas, will be judged on the following criteria:
wages and cost of living
a decent amount of job opportunities
a good number of parks acreage and recreational opportunities
walk-ability within the urban core (downtown) and throughout the city
must have a good public transportation system throughout the city
must be a good city to meet people (both platonic and non-platonic relationships)
have a plethora of things to do (music festivals, museums, sporting events, etc.)
future economic and population growth in the city and suburbs
The city or area must match at least 5 out of 8 categories, in any combination, in order to with the throw-down.
Use the poll to select one city of your choice.
Good Luck to all of our competitors!

Minneapolis takes this. But I voted for New Orleans anyway. I love the Crescent City.

MSP takes all.
I love the other 3 cites, but using the OP's criteria, it's MSP no contest.

Voted for MPLS for criteria, though would probably say NO for a single visit, and STL for living for my tastes.

Yeah hard to argue logically against the Twin Cities but The Big Easy is just a relaxing blast and I voted that way.
