Wish I'd have seen it sooner. I'd have made a few suggestions to get a feel for the city itself, outside of the tourist traps.
Where did you go?

I visited several places the last time I was there. Downtown is definitely thriving with activity, Winter Park, Thornton Park, Audubon Park, and my shopping areas on Sand Lake Drive and the outlet stores. Orlando is a great shopping and dining town. It does remind me of Charlotte in its suburbs. Both cities do a great job of putting commercial development in with residential so you are never too far from a grocery store, hardware, or places to eat. I tried a few new restaurants AVA Mediterraegean, Farm & Haus, and Dharma Southern Kitchen. I also got the chance to ride a bike on the Little Econ greenway, which was nice.
