My hometown has around 20 so far this year; last year there were 15 or 16, I think. 2019 has broken records. Still far lower than Charlotte!

Vancouver is full of Asian and Asian do not commit murder. I mean look in every city stats and you will barely see any Asian
I mean Chinese cities are among the safest in the world with homicide rate below 1/100k, Japan the whole country had like 80 murders in a full year (forgot which one)

I guess Brockton gets lot of bad rep simply because it is run down but crime wise it is not bad at all. The 10 months I spent there there was no murders, it had some issues but far from that out of control city people in Massachusetts tend to portray it to be

I recall murders being much higher when I was in Montreal growing up, back when the Hells Angels and Maurice "Mom" Boucher were in pull swing of things.

Latest stats through the 20th for Chicago. A decent decline from the huge jump in 2016:

2016: 599
2017: 564 -5.8%
2018: 464 -17.7%
2019: 413 -9.0%
