Sacramento's 20th homicide of the year was a police killing in Noralto, North Sac last night:

Sacramento's first line of duty killing since 1999. Sacramento is on pace to finish the year with ~43 murders...

I've been following Philly and Baltimore closely for months. Baltimore has kept within 7-15 behind Philly for well over a month. Baltimore SHOULD NOT be on Philly's tail like that. They need to get a grip on that warzone.

Baltimore has higher numbers than New York already. It will likely surpass Philadelphia, which is terrible.

Baltimore is the city with the most murders behind Chicago in the US for the past 2-3 years now, this is no longer surprising, and sadly, I don't see it stopping anytime soon. The only reason Philly is above Baltimore right now is they have had a major increase of almost 15%, meanwhile Baltimore is just remaining steady.

Which is insane considering Baltimore has 600,000 people vs. Chicago's 2,700,000. Chicago would have over 650 homicides right now if it had the same homicide rate as Baltimore. It's at about 220.
