I don't think it's very common to have more than 2 kids these days.

I'm wondering which of these urban areas is most full of hip, young, middle class couples with kids. "Hip" is kind of a weird term, and I suppose I really just mean yuppie or upwardly mobile or whatever. Millennial yuppies are kind of notorious for having lots of dogs but not lots of kids. I'm asking where they do have lots of kids.
You didn't list Philadelphia which has a ton of millennials with children now. I know because I live among them. Fwiw, I'm a Boomer and I definitely feel outnumbered.

Just curious. Where are you going in the US that isn't awash with strollers nowadays?

Ah, no. Japan and Italy are genetic dead ends. Or will likely be in the not too distant future.

I'm seeing young children all the time but it probably won't be on the level of the Boomer years with a lot stay at home moms.

Ahhh yeah actually. Check birth rates in the USA my dude, especially non-immigrants.

It's not even remotely close. What are you talking about, "probably"?

Where I am in Cleveland isn't too bad (Cleveland Heights/University Heights, if interested) in this regard. I even know two couples who got married before age 25! But the number of kids is still not quite what it was when I was a kid.
Introduction of birth control pills coincided almost exactly with the official end of the Boomer years. So, yes, it's doubtful there will be a boom quite like the 50s boom anytime soon. Millennials do outnumber Boomers now but only by a couple of million.

Because the people we are talking about are still in their prime child bearing years and the oldest Gen-Zs are early 20s.

I mean, America's birthrate last year was the lowest ever. It's now on par with a lot of childless European countries.

I think the birthrate today is roughly half what it was at the peak of the 1950s baby boom. Because there are more people overall there will obviously be more kids. But as a percentage of that overall population kids are a vastly smaller number. There are far less kids per adult than during the baby boom.
