Yuppie. Bourgeois, but in a socially conscious way. Basically I want to know where a lot of people are like the Obamas, but with three and four kids per family (which I don't actually think is Chicago).
Maybe Denver, though the "social consciousness" level isn't all that high here.

And Generation Z is just now graduating from high school. You didn't think I was asking about which places are full of literal children having lots of kids. When people talk about young families they are talking about millennials.
If anything positive is said about SLC, you’ll always show up to talk it down. Every single time.
It ranked only based on the categories it mentions, which are things that are undoubtedly trendy currently. A big reason it ranked high is because SLC has a lot of vegan restaurants for its size, it has 11 compared to Denver’s 9 and Boise’s 1 for example.
I always find Denver to be far less interesting and "hip" than it is purported to be, so I can't imagine Salt Lake to be so much worse.

No. The Gen-Z years start in 1996. The oldest are out of college if they went to college.
SLC is about 50% LDS (Mormon). You find varying opinions on how insular the LDS community is WRT others. Some say it's awful, some say not so much.
A recent poll showed that the city itself is about 25% Mormon and the majority of residents consider themselves as liberal, so it’s definitely different than the rest of state. I don’t like the suburbs of SLC at all but I love the city.
Obamas? Rich people with families? Pick any part of coastal California. About half of the homes in my hood have kids and in areas with Latinos the families are large.
Before I read through this thread, I picked my area, suburban NJ. But people here aren't pumping out children. Young millennial families have 1-2 children on average, if they have any, especially in the trendy areas.
