I forgot about Discovery relocating to NYC. Montgomery County (MD) has become such a let down. The county seems stagnant despite being one of the richest in the country and its proximity to DC.

Remarkable that in spite of NIH and Hopkins, Montgomery County has only one commercial biotech employer (AstraZeneca/MedImmune) with over 1,000 employees within the county.

Interesting that Atlanta's Fulton County surpassed both D.C. and Arlington County in GDP, and Arlington County in per capita GDP.
