Excludes Boston because I’ve never been. I like San Francisco more, despite having chosen DC more above. If only they had a good metro -.-“ I will forever be spoiled (American standards!!!!) having metro.

It gets a lot of hate; but DC metro covers the city very well (and the burbs) and keeps expanding. Neighborhoods not directly at metro usually have a fairly easy bus connection at a metro stop.
