Quality of life - Savannah
Culture
Entertainment/things to do - Savannah
Food - Savannah (Both offer good food, but I prefer the seafood/southern cooking in Savannah to southwestern cuisine)
Weather - Savannah (for me)
Nightlife - not sure
Cost of living - Savannah
Overall - Savannah
I've never been to Savannah so perhaps I shouldn't comment but I've lived in the South and am not fond of the climate. I've been to Flagstaff several times and do like the climate and the trees that grow up there on the The Mogollon Rim. However, I've never been in Flagstaff during the heat of mid-summer! Otherwise, from what I've read and heard about Savannah, I think it would be lovely

...Flagstaff is hot? That’s a new one. Flag gets an average of mid to low 70s in the summer, and get in the 50s and 40s at night. And it will snow up to April or May.
Savannah I’m sure is a much hotter place and probably does fall under the “hot” category for most people.
This is a unique thread I wouldn’t think anyone would compare these places. Seems like anyone who would prefer the former would not like the latter and vice versa.
I love Flagstaff but I couldn’t live there long term I’d think I’d get bored. The town is ridiculously expensive for what it is. Nightlife is what you’d expect for a small ski town with a small university. Weather is good for cold-oriented people. Summers are fantastic in relation to Phoenix but I find that I can get cold at night there, as their summers are our winters. Flag gets a lot of snow, 100” a year on average which is more snow than Minneapolis and Chicago; Flag is a climate island and has a climate more similar to parts of Alaska than you would find on the nearby Navajo Nation. People have a great quality of life in Flagstaff and are generally very happy people.
I'd prefer Flagstaff but I think Savannah has more to offer overall.
