The other foods listed are great local foods that people from Chicago know well, but I don't know that Chicago is really "known for" them (at least not outside Chicagoland).
True. Although I always throw those into the list when out of towners visit so they can spread the knowledge and tell people "aww mah godddd i had this thing called a street polish and it was s00 g00d in Chicago"

But yeah if you see any Chicago tourist vlog Deep dish and hot dogs always show up.

Really all kinds of Italian food. Venda Ravioli is pretty famous, I guess, up on Federal Hill but here are more ravioli places in Providence: https://www.providencejournal.com/ar...LIFE/160319171

Wouldn’t NOLA be creole food instead of Cajun. Cajun is more Acadiana, no?

Philadelphia has the hoagie and the roast pork sandwich, too. Big sandwich town.

Texas - TexMex, Bbq, Chicken fried steak
Austin - all of the above and fajitas. They were first sold at a taco stands in Austin and Kyle and made popular at the Hyatt in Austin. It was in the 80's or 90's when fajitas caught on in the rest of the country. Here's a link to a "History of the Fajita" article in the Austin Chronicle from several years ago.
