If you love wild beaches, Oregon is great. Washington has some too, but not as many.
Forests, depends what type you like. I know both well. I prefer Colorado's. More openings for views. More fall color.
Mountains, Colorado has tons over 11,000 feet. PNW doesnt have that many over 8,000 feet outside of North Cascades NP, the Wallowas and the tallest volcanoes. In a number of areas, the high points are 6,000 feet and under.
If you love lakes, you can find lakes to use / maybe love in either but other states can compete / beat if you prefer warm water and the surrounding biologically diverse shoreline.
It would be fairer to go state vs. state or region vs. region. Idaho is put in each by some. Probably should be mostly Rockies, with just the panhandle going to the northwest.
