One has absolutely nothing to do with the other? I’m not gonna sit here and debate who has a better reputation, but I will say scores of tourists that go to Orlando probably wish they were anywhere else but there. Not sure you can say the same for Vegas?

Why would you say that?

Really didn’t think I needed to spell that one out? Sometimes in life you do things for others that you don’t want to do yourself. Are you telling every adult at Disneyworld wants to be there?

Yes. The vast majority. Why not??
For one, why wouldn't two parents find joy in taking a family vacation to Disney World? Why wouldn't they want to be there?

Also, You DO know there are PLENTY of things catered to adults in and around Disney World, and especially on I-Drive and Universal, right?

Do you mean like enduring Vegas because some friends really wanted you to join them? I agree.

I think the reason you confused me and needed to spell it out is this is a boneheaded, nonsensical, sort of embarrassing argument. You could easily say that for any vacation. You’re just projecting your own feelings onto millions of tourists. Very silly and non-credible argument.

I think that the vast majority of adults absolutely enjoy putting smiles on their kids' faces and making memories with their families that will last a lifetime. I don't think most of them consider it to be anything close to the prison sentence that you do.

I'm actually somewhat blown away by this but I guess it's to be expected on this forum.

Even guys like Pablo Escobar and Sonny Black Napolitano were known to enjoy the mouse. Everyone has their tastes...but you have to be pretty miserable to not enjoy it on some level.

One thing to consider though - many come to the area for Disney/Universal without ever setting setting foot in Orlando itself.

I guess folks forget that back in the day, at the end of the Super Bowl, someone from the winning team would be interviewed and at the end the correspondent would ask what are you doing next and the standard reply was "Going to Disneyworld." Ahhh the days....
