There has been a spike in shootings and even homicides, but I'm not sure if it's affecting Atlanta any more so than in cities like New York, Chicago, etc. I also remember the spike in the mid-2010's in many cities was referred to as the "Ferguson Effect".

Atlanta has too much wealth and is its region's hegemon city.

It, like Minneapolis, will be fine. Too much rests on its success.

Baltimore and Saint Louis are historical tragedies, and the roots of their demise began long before the George Floyd protests.
