I'll take the Garden District, just looks to have more going on and more random businesses on side streets. Not every day that a Southern city beats out a Northeastern city in density/urbanity.
I definitely prefer Lake City Way NE. I like the wooded feel with all of the trees; and that homeless camp in the Leary Way shot is not exactly endearing.

I like the architecture in both neighborhoods and they're in good shape, but i'll have to pick New Haven, it looks more appealing in my opinion. Meadowbrook looks nice but too familiar for me.
I'm always surprised how unlike Seattle the residential areas of Vancouver BC look. That area in Vancouver WA wouldn't look out of place in parts of north Seattle (Bitter Lake, Pinehurst, Victory Heights). Vancouver BC looks much better maintained with prettier landscaping, as well as a lot of fences which are less common in Seattle. It's also a bit odd that despite Canada's reputation for density, Vancouver BC has fairly wide parkways in front of the sidewalks.
I think Vancouver BC actually reminds me of Minneapolis more than anywhere else, visually. MPLS is probably in my top 10 major US cities, while Vancouver WA has never impressed me much, so I'll go with Vancouver BC.
