These threads get weirder and weirder and it’s a particular demographic on this site that push this apocalyptic dystopian blue city narrative on CD everyday. At this point they all sound the same.
While the internet helps us sensationalize things, I also think it would be wise to recognize there is something significant and very real going on in this country, and it isn't not false narratives made up just to make blue cities look bad.
Never said there isn’t something going on but there are agendas and sensationalism out the whazoo with a specific demographic. And sensible know why.
Atlanta and Chicago are the only two on that list I would really have an interest in living. Not because I dont like the others. I love all those cities except Portland (dont like or dislike it really), but for living it would be Atlanta first then Chicago.
Get you posts straight, Traveling. That was me, and I clearly stated "starting in Avondale Estates." I live in an entirely different area across town. The Avondale protest deserved mentioning because it's a predominantly white area, and was organized by whites endorsing BLM. Most protests are Downtown. Pay attention, or don't bother responding to my posts.

Agreed, but the way some folks describe what's going on, you'd think it was the apocalypse.
Sometimes I think we forget how huge this country is and how far you have to travel to get from one hotbed of protest to another one.

There's a few users who latch onto the Anti- BLM + Democrat Cities rhetoric, one in particular who frequents the 2020 Homicide thread although never explicitly says it.
