BEA doesnt allow us to look at counties by metro area, only by state, but you can access that through their interactive data.

1 open the news release for the county and metro area income data on the front page of bea.gov

2 click on the tab titled 'related materials'

3 scroll down to interactive data

from there you can select different geographies and criteria.

Ew boston is getting too rich too fast.

Il be making 200k a year and would barely be able to afford a 2 bedroom apt in the suburbs at this rate of income growth lol.

all I can say is...keep building housing. Dont be like the Bay Area to have a massive windfall of tech and finance income hampered by NIMBYS refusing to accomodate new housing to sustain all the growth. it's ridiculous.

We have the most units ever under construction (covid is working reverse here by pipeline? Idk man) and its still not enough. All greater Boston is, is NIMBYism on steroids.
