What cities and metropolitan areas are the most important in the race to the COVID Vaccine?

I see Boston, San Francisco and DC in the news a lot. Are there others pulling ahead? Who is the most important right now in making the vaccine?

NYC because it was the original hotbed in this country for the virus. A lot of data points for testing.

Currently it looks like Pfizer in the Boston suburbs (Andover) is closest to mass production. 95% success rate across all age, race, gender and ethnic groups.

What exactly are you asking? Are you asking what cities are most important to have the vaccine distributed?

If so, then cold cities where people will be congregating inside have the potential for the worst outbreaks. Chicago, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Detroit, Cleveland, Buffalo, Rochester etc. To a lesser extent places like Boston, Columbus, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, New York etc.

LEAST important are places where covid has less potential in the next few months. Miami, Tampa, Orlando, LA, Phoenix etc.

San Diego. Lot of biotech companies in and around UCSD and the Golden Triangle.

At least 6 companies working on COVID vaccines in San Diego

If both Moderna and Pfizer are in MA this seems like a kind of needless poll. Certainly, doesn't need this many options.
