Yes correct. There’s two in Brooklyn. One in For greene neighborhood and one in Williamsburg.

Givenchy announced a new store for Philadelphia (KoP).

Not sure if Atlanta was formally announced yes (part of the expansion plans).

The wealth in NYC and Tri state area can support it. On top of that nyc is officially home to the most millionaires in the world. 1.5 million New Yorkers are millionaires and home to about 107 billionaires. Its probably the wealthiest city in the world. T https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2019/01/18/...the-world.html. Also the Domestic international travel.

This is why most brands make sure they have a flagship presence in NYC along with multiple stores all over Manhattan. Most of the brands also have showrooms here in the city as well alongside many designer sample sales. NYC is just a shoppers paradise whether it’s luxury or contemporary designers. I don’t shop when zi travel to other U.S cities. Just no need we have everything

Also, NYC is a magnate for wealthy tourists. Sales at many of the fancy boutiques in Manhattan are reliant on tourism traffic.

Not me. I make it a point to seek out local designers and shops wherever I travel, especially for bespoke men's clothing and jewelry. I have found amazing things at out of the way shops.

Some department stores have boutiques just like standalone stores -- operated by LVMH directly, which leases a concession within the dept store (just like in a mall). These stores are even larger and have more products than some standalone stores.

For sure, but somewhere in these retail threads a while back we discussed this and decided to only count stand-alone locations, however I see no problem in including those as well.
