Good one. I think I'll go with Mackinac Island. There seems to be a bit more to do, and I like the freshwater of the Great Lakes vs the salty Atlantic.

Quebec, Canada or Jalisco, Mexico?
Quebec. I'd rather visit Canada. Chattanooga TN or Macon GA?
Even though I live very close to Vancouver, I'm going with there. I never managed to make it up there before COVID happened, and now who knows when I'll get to. I feel that I'm missing out on many fundamental PNW experiences!

Kansas or (only) Queens, NY?
Weirdly enough, I'll pick Kansas. If just for the fact I'd be interested in checking out some of the small towns in eastern and central Kansas, along with also Lawrence. Maybe I'd also visit Wichita (as I had family who once lived there), and to stop in Hays if passing through western Kansas? Granted I don't have high expectations for KS, and more picking that since I've been to Queens before.
Brooklyn(NYC, and ONLY that borough), or the city of Philadelphia?

I'd pick Philadelphia. Even though I've been to Philly, there's so much more I'd like to see and do. I've never been to Brooklyn, but I have been to Manhattan and I don't really feel like I'm missing out on much by skipping over Brooklyn.

Vancouver Island or Newfoundland?
Believe it or not, I'll go with Newfoundland. I'd SO LOVE to check out the historic buildings in Saint John's, myself. Though I'm sure Vancouver(and anywhere else also in Vancouver Island) is also nice, too.

Virginia Beach, VA, or Wilmington, NC?
They're both good for some time at the beach, but I prefer the smaller size and what felt to me like a more pedestrian-friendly layout in Wilmington. Plus, it has the battleship North Carolina, which I've visited a number of times and never get tired of.
Gatlinburg, TN or Pigeon Forge, TN? (Assume that you can visit the Smoky Mountains from either one, but otherwise need to limit yourself to just one or the other.)

Gatlinburg for sure. I really like Gatlinburg, it's a fun little town... Pigeon Forge isn't bad, but it really isn't in the mountains.

Chicago or Washington, DC
This is tough because I've always wanted to visit both but since I have to choose I'll go with Washington. It's a history and museum buff's dream. Nashville or Memphis?
