I don’t think Austin’s skyline is short of character at all. But they’re definitely behind Dallas. I’ll tell you one thing though, they’re a in a good third in the state. They’ve definitely passed up San Antonio.

Yeah I'm not saying Austin skyline doesn't have any character I just don't think it's as recognizable at the moment in comparison to Dallas. And yes it's definitely better than San Antonio. Not really a fan of their "skyline". Actually underwhelming for a city it's size.

San Antonio's skyline is pretty underwhelming but on a surface level SATX hit harder than what I was expecting. I enjoyed it.

Austin made two major errors as it pertains to its skyline. The 1st and biggest error by far is designing the Austonian to not face the River. The other is giving the approval to build the monstrosity known as the Independent AKA the Jenga tower.

There isn’t a Texan punching Austin.

Eventually Austin will have it's 74 story, 1,000 ft+ supertall to add to the mix. Will be interesting to see how it and the nearly 20 other towers to be built and their impact on the skyline.

Unfortunately you’re wrong. Texans not from Austin love to bash it. I think it’s stupid but oh well

San Antonio isn't really known for skyscrapers. Sure, San Antonio could build some, but they are more known for historical buildings, character, the River Walk, and the Alamo. They don't want buildings overpowering the Alamo and Riverwalk.

That said, SA is finally building a few towers downtown. The all glass Frost tower just went up another tower by the frost tower and weston center is supposed to go up.
