Worthless, clueless AL.com writer Carol Robinson. She's so terrible at reporting. That's why BPD isn't too fond of her. She will report one homicides and then write 2-3 articles about that one making it seem like more than what it really is. Just awful.

Yes New York City was really wild at its peak, but because of population it doesn’t rank in the worse cities. But if we ranked each borough‘I’d throw Brooklyn & Bronx with any city out there.

Minneapolis is at 63 after a shooting on the expressway

St. Paul is now at 22 with 4 separate homicides in the last 36 hours.

Technically they should be classified as a murder, but the Police Chief seems to be following what Chief David Brown was doing a few years ago, which was not including incidents like that. So I wouldn't be surprised if they're not included, in the past they would usually be included.

update from the weekend.

07-24-2021 13:28 - 1200 Cedar Haven Ave - B/M, 38 - Found deceased inside an open hole dug for construction, ruled a homicide August 24.
08-27-2021 21:14 - 2600 Main St - Withheld - Stabbed in the chest in a parking lot outside 2626 Main St.
08-28-2021 03:53 - 8850 Ferguson Rd - B/M, 18 - Shot in the head in the parking lot a second person was also shot in the leg.
08-29-2021 22:41 - 1414 Belleview St - Withheld - Shot multiple times while sitting on steps outside of the listed location.
08-30-2021 23:21 - 3400 Hammerly Dr - Found shot outside of a house.

There was also another shooting on 08-30-2021 at 1600 Bending Oaks Trl where CPR had to be preformed.

Minneapolis is only slightly larger than St. Paul with a significantly higher murder total. Why is that?
