That requires people to think. Chicago has a neighborhood with around 35,000 people and 70+ homicides. 800+ for the year and more than NY & L.A. combined. That creates easy to digest headlines to make Chicago seem like a war zone.
When you put it that way it is crazy to think of. I guess I didn’t realize that Chicago had more homicides than NYC and LA. That’s outrageous.
