Between NE and SE alone is about 75 and another 50+across the border in PG county. That alone is about 125 in a population 600k.

About 60% of the 86 within the District are East of the River, where just 20% of the city lives.

Meanwhile, Wards 2 & 3, pop 150,000, have had just two homicides this year. The safe parts of DC seem to be staying reasonably safe.
