Some others that come very close or depending on who you include would fit(think black Hispanics and those in combo; 20% black and 85% or higher grad rate criteria) Initial post: https://www.city-data.com/forum/61256043-post374.html
^In terms of the Providence area, a couple of other places where there are some black middle class residents are in the Newport/Middletown area in Newport East and Attleboro on the MA side.
For the bolded city, the black percentage while 4.4%(5.2% inc. in combo) out of 44,789 people, the black median household income in the city is $98,250(13.9% poverty rate).
For Newport East(CDP), the black percentage is 8.4%(10.7% inc. in combo) out of 11,925 people, with the black median household income at $52,969(poverty rate at 5.2%). It is located in the town of Middletown.
Also on the MA side of the Providence metro, Taunton is 8.8%(11.1% inc. in combo) out of 57,124, with a black median household income of $51,337(poverty rate of 17.9%).
So, these are some places in that area that appear to have at least some degree of a black middle class outside of the immediate Providence area.

Recently a huge influx of African Americans because its really inexpensive for the Boston area. You can snag up a SFH in good condition for under 500k in Montello Brockton.

Wow in 2000, that Holbrook tract was 4% black. Now almost 20%.
I used to live right next to that tract.
Yeah, it looks like the Randolph/Stoughton/Avon/Holbrook/NE Brockton continuous area looks to be an area with a growing black middle class and perhaps one to keep an eye on in the near future. What is nice is that it is in between Boston and Providence. That could mean that it could be a good option for those that work in either city.
Also, the nearby areas of Milton and (South) Boston neighborhoods also have a substantial black middle class as well. So, it looks like it is heading from there going south.

Yes and this is in a highly regarded school district as well. So, the Boston area does have at least one example of a community with a very visible black middle class in a very good SD. That area is also close to Mattapan Square, which is a walkable, shopping district: https://www.google.com/maps/@42.2676...2!9m2!1b1!2i37
