Out of these cities in the Northeast/Midwest, which one do you believe is the most nationally recognized? In terms of pop culture, sports, history, growth, popularity, etc.
In other words, if you talk to someone anywhere in the United States, which city out of these options would that person most-likely recognize and know about? (For the record, I'm excluding larger cities/metros such as Philadelphia, Detroit, Chicago, etc.)
Seems to me like Indianapolis is the least recognized. I think Milwaukee also might be less recognized due to proximity to Chicago. Probably between Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and St. Louis. St. Louis probably wins out though for the Arch. Being on the Mississippi and right in the middle of the country also makes it more "Americana" than the other two.
