Both two of the most interesting/vibrant urban neighborhoods in the US for sure. Love the feel in each.

I will say, though, that Philadelphia's Manayunk is a bit more treacherous for a non-pedestrian due to the very steep grade and incredibly narrow streets. Not a fun place for a car owner by any measure: https://maps.app.goo.gl/QQ6iUBsr4r9ETcXA6

The Southside has some treacherous steep and narrow streets. Even more so than Manayunk. The Southside Flats is pretty flat but the Southside Slopes are nothing short of amazing.
