Understood however I was responding to the poster who put Raleigh in the same tier and that simply isn't true....
No one said that. Someone mentioned Raleigh and Austin were more educated. You chimed in with Raleigh not being at a Charlotte or Dallas level. Then it spiraled from there.

No worries. I was responding to a poster that said that Raleigh for singles was on the same level or better than Charlotte.
Dallas/Fort Worth. I've have/had family in Charlotte and visited a few times. Its more conservative and didn't feel as lively or with the similar number of entertainment venues relative to each metros size. DFW is more a most-stop for touring acts. There are more major league/pro teams in DFW even compared to places like Miami, Atlanta and Houston. There are two large casinos within 60 miles of most of DFW. DFW built a new Opera House in 2010, has two large arenas, the smaller one, seating 14,000, only opened 18 months ago and a second amphitheater, seating up to 8,000, opened since September 2017. Last, people don't realize how much water recreation is available in DFW. Within 80 miles, there are at least eight lakes of size, including four within 25 miles of downtown Dallas or Fort Worth. Outside of coastal cities, including those around the Great Lakes, only Minneapolis/St. Paul and Austin have as much water recreation available.

From my perspective, more like neither. Both metros are around 36% college educated adults. A place where I’d meet bright, engaged professional women is closer to 50%. If I had to pick, I’d pick Dallas but for the Carolinas, I’d pick Raleigh-Durham and for Texas, I’d pick Austin. Those are both above 45%.
So if you find a woman without a degree but is good person, working and attractive, you'll walk away?
Dallas all the way!....Born and raised in Charlotte. Yes, I left. Social scene just wasn't cutting it. Yes its come along away from what it used to be and its definitely added more things....But still doesn't beat Dallas! IMO.
