This is one of those matchups, I'm going to keep tabs on. Also this is interesting how both places, aren't too far from a bigger city (Seattle, or LA).

I've heard more about Tacoma, than I have Ventura. Would like down the road to hear more about Ventura, myself.

I could've sworn we'd done this already, but it looks like that was Tacoma vs. Oxnard. Anyway, still Tacoma for me. The LA area isn't super appealing to me but if I were there, I'd want to be in the city or an inner-ring suburb.

Tacoma has its rough parts, but there are a lot of pretty awesome city amenities. And like Seattle, there are so many jaw dropping spectacular views all over the city.

The Ventura area. It has the best weather of the USA. You could go boating, hiking year round. Beautiful scenery. LA is close by. Low crime. The only downsides are the cost of living and maybe public transportation.
