Chicago has 36 after a the victim in the South Shore Sunday shooting died making it a double homicide and a shooting/stabbing victim in Auburn Gresham.

St. Paul at 5 and Minneapolis at 3. I don't remember the last time St. Paul had more homicides than Minneapolis.

Omaha recorded homicide #2 for the new year as a man was shot to death in the parking lot of a sports bar in north Omaha Sunday night.
