Still feels like October has been particularly bad.
It has the city has had a number of found dead bodies that weren’t ruled homicides and some high profile events. But the only really increase in crime YTD is in the Hyde Park Roslindale West Roxbury area
10 killed, 43 shots(9 of whom are juveniles) so far during a warm weekend. In the most recent event in an early Sunday morning, 5 shot and 3 killed in a street drift consisting of 100 cars that happened in Brighton Park on the southwest side. All 3 victims were Hispanic gang members.

Nowhere near as bad as prior to the RICO roundups that took 50 gangbangers from the Cameron Street and NOB gangs off the street in the Fields Corner section of Dorchester. In 2020 Dorchester *alone* had 32 homicides in its 6 square miles.
