The weekend ended with 11 killed and 51 shot in total. Another 4 homicides occurred Monday, including an 8 year shot in the head inside a home. It is suspected that it may have been accidental.
I had the prediction that there will be less than 60 homicides this month, but now I'm not sure, as nearly two dozen have been murdered since last Monday.

Chicago- 572 (19 killed during the week of 10/17-10/23 ending with 564 total)
3 killed on Wednesday, one a 15 year old male shot multiple times in the torso and leg by someone driving in a white jeep in the Greater Grand Crossing community on the south side. There was also a fatal shooting in Uptown on the north side, where a 25 year old man was shot in the back by someone in a black jeep (what a coincidence). In the Chatham community, a 25 year old woman was fatally shot in the head and leg while standing on a sidewalk.
