Philly had a violent weekend including 4 fatal shootings in SW Philly and 1 in NE Philly. Camden has seen it's third murder of the year and Wilmington has 0 remarkable for the latter.

If you actually grew up in Camden you are likely the most courageous person I ever replied to on a forum . I could imagine someone buying those boarded up houses from your link for like 1000$ each and hope Camden will gentrify in one or two decades. It is close enough to Philly to have some chance of revival.

Flint is not doing so well this year, it is currently at 8 homicides so far: link. A 60% increase over the same period last year, which was a very bad year crime wise.
