Not a good start for Northeast Ohio for 2022. Think it's already around 15 as of yesterday and that's not including any in the Youngstown-Warren area. Plus, while there hasn't been much snow, it hasn't exactly been a mild weather start to the new year (been mostly frigid temps).

Cleveland - At least 6 (all seemingly separate incidents)
Brook Park - 2 (double murder suicide)
Elyria - 2 (separate incidents)
Canton - 2 (separate incidents ... though one will be ruled justified because it involved an officer)
Fairlawn - 1 (the city's first homicide since 1978)
Sheffield - 1
Wickliffe - 1 (though that one may be counted toward 2021)

Chicago has seen 3 more homicides. We had seen a weekend in which less than 10 people were shot
1. A south side male shot and killed
2. A woman killed in Auburn Gresham
3. A man killed in Austin

Los Angeles ( 23 homicides )

Seems like every major city is turning back the clock in time as the homicides continue to spike across the country.

Yeah, it's really reminding me of the early 1990's now.
