Is Englewood fair? Its a Denver suburb. Like a real suburb, not like Boulder.

I’m sorry but I have to issue a complaint about Tempe. Why is it included? It’s clearly a suburb of Phoenix and not a particularly great one at that. Does it really meet the criteria for the entire West?

Edited to add. Oh wait, this is obviously your own criteria as you placed somewhere like St. Cloud in the Midwest yet neglected somewhere like Naperville IL or Evanston IL, yet Tempe is on the table. Makes no sense. I’m out.

The Northeast in general runs away with this IMO. Really illustrates how urban and large-feeling even small Northeastern cities are.

My top 5:
1. Buffalo
2. Albuquerque
3. Albany
4. Cambridge
5. Manchester

Chill out man, I chose those cities at random, I give the spotlight to lesser known cities/suburbs/towns in the Royal Rumble

In terms of size, Buffalo belongs in the weight class above the other cities you listed. After all, it's the only one of the 32 with a team in one of the major professional sports leagues.

And like Everett in the Pacific Northwest, Cambridge, Mass., isn't really a standalone or satellite city. Many consider it (along with neighboring Somerville) part of Boston's urban core. And while New Yorkers don't say the same about Hoboken, it is right across the Hudson from Manhattan. (I guess the city didn't need to be the center of a region in order to be included.)

I'd substitute Lancaster, Pa., which really should have been in the Northeast bracket no matter what, and two of the following: Ithaca, N.Y.; Syracuse, N.Y.; New Haven, Conn.; New London, Conn.; Harrisburg, Pa.; Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Pa.; Wilmington, Del.; for those three.

But hey, the brackets are what they are. I've made my choice. But if we were voting regionally, shouldn't this have been a multiple-choice poll? Or four initial posts, one for each bracket?

The WWE Royal Rumble has competitors of different sizes, so why shouldn't this one?

What are the metrics?

If I’m a top performer in tech/biotech, Cambridge easily. If I’m a retired 1%er, Santa Barbara among my pinot noir vines with an ocean view would work. 90 minutes to LAX off-hours. Great climate.
