That Asian population starts from Catonsville, through Ellicott City down to Columbia.
Columbia feels more Baltimore. It doesn't have the DC vernacular of the other cities mentioned.

Becuase DT Columbia and the immediate surrounding area don't sit on several giant man-made lakes.

Like others have alluded to the Asian population starts way north of Columbia.

I’m actually physically at Columbia Mall at this very moment. It feels so DMV to me I’m sorry.the baltimore feel to me is like Randallstown and Middle River…

Rouse Parkway Little Patuxent Parkway etc all feels super DC to me. to me- it really does. 29 south straight to DC

By that logic, Owings Mills and Towson should feel DMV as they are urbanizing exactly like Columbia.

It's not like one of the historic DC suburbs but I just googled some pics and Columbia looks a lot like Reston or Tysons
