My thoughts are that the south would be last in this poll, personally.
These are my rankings--from least accepting, to most accepting--
4 The South
3 The Midwest
2 The West
1 The Northeast
There are a lot of backwards (for lack of a better word) areas in the south, still, who put that type of couple relationship in the same bucket as LGBTQ relationships, and the do not look on either favorably.
Granted, there are folks with prejudices everywhere--but the south is tops with this particular item, in my opinion.

I would tend to agree with this. There may not be a ton of black people in the west, but the west is far more libertarian. Also, with the exception of Utah, the West doesn't have the religious hang-ups that the South (and some of the Midwest) do.

Mormons also tend to be pretty accepting of people of different races and ethnicities.
In my experience seems like the West coast has more interracial couples than I've seen in most major cities in the south and Northeast. I've certainly never seen as many bi-racial people or ppl that identify as other in comparison to other parts of the country. I usually tend to see a lot of Black/White interracial couples in military towns tho. San Antonio practically feels like homebase for Black/White interracial couples.
Right, so racism does not have to be dead in the West for it to be more open than other regions in the United States. The West appears more open because it is more open.
Re: racism in the West, Native Americans are the most likely group to be killed by police, slightly higher than the rate for African-Americans. They're also more over-represented in prisons than any other race. African-Americans often live in urban apartments with lead and other contaminants, but a lot of mining (including for things like uranium ore) is happily done near --- and even on --- reservation land. Natives and African-Americans are #1 and #2 for diabetes. I think the way we treat indigenous people is just less obvious because it tends to happen away from cities.

We’re talking about black/white here. I lived up and down the west coast and can tell I did NOT see very much of that particular mix. Can count how many times on one hand actually. Not so for the South.
I understand that there are very backwards areas of the south, but it is clear based on the maps I posted, the South is where black/white mixes are more prevalent.
For the NE, south of Philadelphia down to Baltimore would be the area they are seen most. They are scattered around the NY metro area as well.
Looks like smaller cities with decent black populations in the Midwest have it as well.

You didn't ask where it was most prevalent. You asked where it was most accepted.
