I currently live in 19130 (Fairmount, specifically), but will be moving to 19128 (Roxborough, specifically) shortly.

Just under $600K will get you a stately rowhome on a beautiful block in the Fairmount/Francisville/Spring Garden section of Philly:

https://www.redfin.com/PA/Philadelph.../home/38397854

In 19128, which is comprised of Roxborough, Andorra, and Wissahickon in Northwest Philly, $600K will afford you anything from a large, older home to a top-of-the-line new construction home:

https://www.redfin.com/PA/Philadelph.../home/40552712

*This home is slightly garish, but there isn't much inventory available in 19128 at the moment. Competition is FIERCE in Northwest Philly at the moment.

Some recently sold homes in Cookeville TN. With 10gig internet available even in the countryside, this area is becoming very popular for the WFH crowd with families.

Yea mostly due to the higher taxes in the NYC metro. And greater density/development in suburban areas.
