I think I TD interesting East Coast cities while expensive rapidly drop off (Worcester for example having under 1%. $1M+ homes) while California cities are basically very expensive over the entire region. Anaheim isn’t cheaper than LA, as far as Sacramento from SF is still above national average

Seems fishy, but I don't know the area well enough to comment.

Fresno has a lot of mcmansions valued at 800-900k. I think you'll be seeing it's percentage doubling or tripling in a couple of years.

This remodel is definitely 1 million today. I think you'll love this mid century modern, Gaylord.

That sounds about right.

Because if Albuquerque had that level of affluence, we'd be seeing "bougie" lux brands flock to ABQ pretty regularly--and they aren't on a mass scale, at all.

They head to Santa Fe, on a more limited basis, anyway.

Albuquerque is very similar to Tucson, Arizona in general. Tucson sits at 2.4%, so I think the 25% is most likely a decimal error on the reported list.

What "bougie brands" are in Santa Fe that aren't in Albuquerque?

Sorry to flatten anyone's pancake about ABQ, but I agree with you.

Okay, since you agree, and decided to insert yourself yet again, what bougie brands are in Santa Fe that aren't in Albuquerque?

I don't know specifically--but there are many high end art galleries and lots of creative artists selling beautiful pieces in Santa Fe, in general.

Also, I did a search on realtor.com for both Santa Fe and Albuquerque, with single family homes over $1 million.

Santa Fe had 131
Albuquerque had 33

Both areas are gorgeous--but Santa Fe has that resort/tourist/high end thing going on.

I didn't say anything about bougie brands in Santa Fe. You'll have to take that up with JJ. I was agreeing with him about ABQ being very similar to Tucson, in general.

Until you brought it up, I had forgotten about you and the replies I received from you after "inserting myself" into that ONE thread when I mentioned that in my own personal experiences, I rarely hear much about ABQ from PHX residents. I never said I hated it. Will you ever let me live that down or are we now sparring partners in perpetuity?

So the answer is you don't really know what you're talking about and have no real clue as to any of the actual name brand, higher end national stores located in each city. And you also are now changing national "bougie lux brands" to local high end art galleries and artists selling art to try to justify your previous ignorant statement. Albuquerque has lots of high end art galleries and local artists selling art too, you know.
