I’d like to see what the numbers were before the government locked everything down putting millions out of business?

I think we saw that during the late end of 2020 and it wasn't pretty for touristy orientated metro's such as Orlando and Las Vegas. It would only make sense that now that things are recovering that they would have record numbers of job growth as they return to normal.

Cincinnati was at 15,800 and Columbus at 17,800.

Cincinnati saw a major downshift once the 2021 numbers were finalized, but several metros also saw some significant swings (both up and down). Overall, Cincinnati, Columbus and Cleveland have been posting similar numbers since about 2017, which Cincinnati a little out front.

It makes a lot of sense for Orlando. The doors flung back open long before a lot of other metros.

Hmm, little bit confused. It says that Employment in Mobile Metro increase by only only 2.8k but when you look at the actual Mobile Metro statistics, it says that Employment increased by 5.2k? What's up?

If their Governor had gotten his way, they would have never closed at all. We only closed for 3 weeks, and nothing was ever mandated Statewide. Our Governor even sued Atlanta over its mask ordinance!

I was working downtown Orlando (and living just outside of it) when the pandemic hit. Nothing ever really slowed down. Life went on as usual… Other than the fact we had to wear a mask walking into the gym.
