San Diego for me, a very moderate climate.

San Diego, hands down! Back in November of last year, I visited LA for the first time. While there, I elected to take the Pacific Surfliner south to San Diego, along with heading into Tijuana. I wish I had stayed in San Diego instead of LA! I felt like I had to visit LA since I had never been to California before, but it was disappointing compared to San Diego. I found SD to be more walkable, fun, and personable. Some might be confused about this, but SD very much reminded me of a warmer, sunnier Philly!

Miami…year round warm weather exotic and international city with ocean (and bay) not requiring a wetsuit, beautiful Latinas (and others), top tier urban amenities (restaurants, nightlife, shopping, world class annual events), closer proximity to where I vacation by air or sea—NYC, Europe and Latin America, minimal homeless compared to some of the others, can easily get by without a car in a few neighborhoods (Brickell, South Beach), no state income tax a cherry on top.

Tough choice between LA, SF, and Miami, but I voted for LA. The whole Wilshire-Sunset area of LA is super nice.

Having lived in the area, I was surprised to see San Francisco on that list. More often than not, even in summer it seems like it would be foggy there. For that reason I voted for it, since I prefer less sun.

Denver for me. I wouldn't live anywhere in the southeast because it's too humid, California is too expensive, Vegas and Phoenix are too hot, and Boise is gloomy as hell in the winter.

LA for me. Phoenix would be number 2. LA is laid back and bustling at the same time, with the perfect vibe. Phoenix is laid back as well.

Same. That's one of my top choices of cities to live in if I had to leave Atlanta. Speaking of which, it's funny that Charlotte is on the list but not Atlanta. I also wouldn't care to live where it's too sunny, rarely rains.

For me it's a tie between Los Angeles and San Diego, can't go wrong with either one. Phoenix or Las Vegas would be my second choice. Sacramento would be my first choice hands down due to it being a very sunny city in addition to having a cheap cost of living, but it's not on your list. You could not pay me to live in Denver, Salt Lake City, or Boise. Way too cold, snowy, and overpriced despite it being sunny.
