Reno and the Prescott,AZ Metro area are close in population and both popular for retirees or just people that want to be close to outdoor recreation. I have been in Phoenix for about 1.5 years and Prescott is nice , but there's just no jobs for me in IT there unless I find something remote. I can't really compare the Phoenix metro area and Reno due to the huge population difference, so I picked Prescott as I like the area and wouldn't mind living there for a bit.
