Forbes Magazine has compiled a list of the 10 most entertaining cities in America.
1) New York City, NY
2) Chicago, IL
3) Los Angeles, CA
4) Miami, FL (tie)
4) Washington DC (tie)
6) Atlanta, GA
7) Philadelphia, PA (tie)
7) Boston MA (tie)
9) San Francisco, CA
10) Dallas, TX
I thought no one on the forum took Forbes lists seriously. At least that's what been said...
Well, if it benefits your city, then Forbes is credible. If not, it's a tabloid. Further, if a particular poll (e.g., "average time frequency for garbage pick-up") puts a favorable light on your particular city, then the methodology is thoughtful and statistically relevant. Likewise, if the poll disparages your city, it was produced and aggregated poorly and should be disregarded out of hand.
In this particular case, this is one of the best, most thoroughly researched and statistically relevent polls ever created, in any medium, at any time. One quibble... NYC should be thrown out as an outlier.
They can spin however they want, but all they did was take the top 10 CSA's (minus Houston plus Miami) and mix them around a little. I could've done that.

They did a little more than that. Whether you agree with it or not, at least they have a process.
I think the reason Vegas didnt make it is that they offer little in the way of culture, just a crazy crazy nightlife.

Hmmm...OK. I bet more of Forbes countless lists conflict with each other rather than agree.
