Which city is safer and has more to do?

Cape would be slightly safer, but Jonesboro is bigger with more stuff. It is home to ASU, one of Arkansas’ other major universities and it’s only an hour from Memphis, which adds to the to do list quite a bit.
Cape Girardeau is close enough to St. Louis for day trips, easily.
I’d prefer Missouri over Arkansas, but Jonesboro isn’t bad by Arkansas standards. It’s in one of the faster growing parts of the state and really the only bright spot in eastern Arkansas at the moment.

Jonesboro is better. It is safer, and there are more things to do close by and faster growth.
