Besides Miami

How many homicides do Florida cities have 2023 to 2022 YTD?

Wallethub has a ranking of A SELECT list of cities by homicide rate in the 3rd quarter. Memphis and DC are 1 and 2, with St Louis, Detroit, and Baltimore all closely clustered in the top 5.

These probably aren't too surprising.

Although, it is crazy DC to see now actually above Baltimore on a per capita basis.

They sure missed a lot of cities - were those selected just at random? No Houston, Miami, Cleveland, Portland, Jackson, OKC, Pittsburgh, San Antonio, San Diego, (the list goes on).

Good catch. Yeah, its misleading. Since the analysis is only based on 40 select cities. Although among the top 5, I don't know how that would change maybe Cleveland would make the list? I have a tough time counting Jackson given it's only like 145k people at this point.

Simple. Cities over 100K. Jackson still around 153K. I dont take yearly estimates at face vqlue.
