Asking as someone who has visited Chicago multiple times but never been to Philly…which city feels nicer/safer when visiting?

Boston definitely needs to included in this conversation. You could walk through most of central Boston- minus a few streets in Downtown Crossing and Theater District/Chinatown- at almost any time of the night and feel very, very safe.

Philly visibly looks worse but they’re kinda similar in terms of your chances of actually being a victim of crime.

Classic C-D. Thread turns into a “discussion” about a city or two that had zero relevance to the topic or poll. Anyways, no surprise San Diego has nearly half the votes. Anyone that says the contrary has never been here.

I get NYC having good crime stats, but there isn’t one person on the face of the earth that would rather be in the Bronx (or several other areas of NYC) vs the “rough” areas of SD. It’s laughable if someone says otherwise.
