I'm talking about park spaces with the metropolitan area, and forests/recreation areas/hiking just outside of the metro, too. And I'm not necessarily talking about scenery or whatever--that's not unimportant but obviously some places are just blessed with natural beauty in a way that others are not. Mainly I'm just talking about volume--which place has more plentiful access to hiking, parks, etc. Feel free to rank the five places I've listed.
I voted Charlotte. IMNSHO, the Metroplex has the worst natural setting of your choices. Mostly flat with inconsistent tree cover, and it's ridiculously hot and humid for 3-4 months out of the year. Indy is just as flat as DFW but has considerably more trees.

In order for me
Charlotte, Houston, San Antonio, Indianapolis, Dallas
I initially didn't see Charlotte in the poll
Why did you put Houston ahead of San Antonio?
