thank you. i mean, seriously...new yorkers are undoubtedly different, but no more so than californians are from texans, minnesotans from georgians, oregonians from arkansans, etc

lol na. ppl from nyc and nys are even different, let alone comparing and contrasting ppl from nyc with ppl from other states.

do we have more in common with someone from a larger city in the u.s. than someone from a smaller city or the suburbs/rural areas? yes, of course.

this doesn't make ny any less unique, tho. nyc is definitely different and more unique than any other city in the country IMO. nyers and say...chicagoans are completely different. as are nyers and ppl from sf, nyers and ppl from la, nyers and ppl from houston, etc.

actually, now that i think of it, IMO upstate ny is more like something you'd find in the rest of the country.

actually 48, because new york is too unique with the subways and beef patties to be counted with the rest of us mere peasants

i guess alaska isn't unique enough either since it hasn't been a state for that long.

Why does a NYer have to be in a bubble? What if I wanted to be in a pyramid or a box? But idk why NYers are always singled out.

On topic: Pretty much every city on that list is very unique. But Washington D.C. & New Orleans stick out the most because I can't think of cities remotely similar to them (although D.C. & ATL have a similar vibe to me).

I see now, I was also partly joking.

But this section reminds me of the Bad Girls Club lol, 95% of threads have clashing and spin out of control.

I say Baltimore. The food, the Inner Harbor, and, well, just that "Baltimore feel". If you haven't been (other than as a tourist) you probably don't know what I mean. It is very unique. New Orleans is a great choice, however. Hell, NO is probably the best choice.
